BIO

Eric Beaulieu interest in starting his own business was inspired by his dad that had been a small business owner all his life.  Watching his dad interacting with clients left a lasting impression that would fuel his passion to one day start his own business.  Seeing the ease with which his dad formed lasting relationship with his client is something that he greatly admired and wanted to emulate.

During his formative teenage years,  Eric grew steadily interested in construction and started studying the trade by taking shop class at school and reading any literature that he could get his hands on. At the age of 20, Eric enrolled at the Asticou technical school and graduated honourably from a 9 month program where he learned the basics of home construction.  With a solid foundation to stand on, he started working as journeyman for a local contractor in his home city of Gatineau.

After a couple of years of honing his skills and feeling that there was more of a demand for trades in the west, he decided to try his chances in the in the booming city of Calgary where demand for skilled tradesmen was exploding.   Eric took his crew to Alberta where they started working for Cardel, Calgary's biggest house building company.

Since then,  Eric has worked on large commercial projects for Canadian Tire,  Walmart, and many other large commercial projects where he acted as builder and foreman.

In 2006, he created custom construction inc. that grew from a one person team to a 9 person team that did everything from new home construction to complete home renovations.

In 2012, Eric decided to move to the east coast to escape the frantic city lifestyle and build a house in the country.   After 8 months of planning and building the entire house on his own,  the house was completed successfully in 2012 in Cormier-Village where he currently resides today.  Since then, he's been steadily building his clientele in Atlantic Canada for the past year. From word-of-mouth testimonials from satisfied customers, the business has flourished and expanded.

From the expertise gained working  in one of the most active contracting markets in the world, Eric is able to apply the knowledge and work ethic that he received to the projects in South-Eastern New Brunswick that he currently works.
